Comprehensive Resource Library
Empowering our members
Recognizing that knowledge is power, the NWSN aims to empower its Members with a Comprehensive Resource Library for sharing information, research, innovation and resources of every kind.
Members can learn about program successes and challenges in other communities and how to solve them; research evidence-based, informed programs and supportive services to help inform clinical teams about the latest options; and sample policies and procedures—from financial policies, systems and controls to disaster preparedness and HIPPA—that are in use in other shelter and safe haven programs; to provide a jumping off point for shelter leaders to build organizational infrastructure without reinventing the wheel.
With access to important articles, statistics, and information already compiled for their use, the Comprehensive Resource Library also saves our Members precious time and resources in their community outreach, grant writing and advocacy work.
